Robin Janeway, DVM
Dr. Janeway was raised in Grass Valley and always planned to return to her beautiful hometown. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Animal Science at UC Davis and continued on to obtain her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the prestigious UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. After vet school, she practiced preventative and emergency medicine at an equine clinic near Modesto. The most rewarding part of practicing medicine is her love of establishing lasting relationships with her patients and their owners.
Dr. Janeway joined the Brighton Greens Veterinary Hospital team in 2016, and she purchased the practice with business partner, and fellow BGVH veterinarian Dr. Amber Murphy in 2017.
Amber Murphy, DVM
Dr. Amber Murphy received her degree in pre-veterinary medicine from the University of Conneticut, where she grew up. Prior to vet school, Dr. Murphy relocated to San Diego, California for a job as a research scientist, where she met her future husband, Cain. Her affinity for all animals and their well being and a quest to explore new and exciting places, Dr. Murphy and her family moved to Australia to fulfill her lifelong dream to become a veterinarian. She graduated with second-class merit honors from the globally accredited veterinary school at Murdoch University in Perth, Western Australia.
Dr. Murphy joined the Brighton Greens team in 2017, and purchased the hospital with her business partner, and fellow BGVH veterinarian Dr. Robin Janeway in September of 2017. Along with special interests in internal/emergency medicine and soft tissue surgery, Dr. Murphy and her family enjoy the great variety of outdoor activities the Nevada County has to offer. Dr. Murphy takes great pride in providing excellent standard of care for her patients and outstanding customer service to her clients, and considers herself very fortunate to have found a career and practice that is so personally fulfilling.
